Thriller opening idea

Two people have a race against time to get a new job. It is set on Grinshill and both competitors start from the top of the hill at the same point and can pick anyway of getting to the bottom but have to end at the same point, which has the boss who is waiting to hire the fastest one. Use of POV and fast moving shots will be frequently used. Jump cuts between each of the characters showing there progress throughout the race.

This video shows a basic idea on what we will do but we will add a storyline to this but also adding opening credits.

These are some videos that i have taken inspiration from. The first video shows three people who are racing for a chance to join these mysterious people wearing masks. I like this idea because it is easy to replicate and adds lots of enigma to the story. This is because we don't know who the people are or what hey want with the three.

The second video is from the film Alex Ryder and is near the end. The whole scene is just swapping between the two people, of Alex and a man in a suit. The music is excited and fast for when we see Alex but when we swap it is slower and more sinister.
If we incorporate both of these ideas and have two people racing towards a third man in a suit and swap between views, i think it will look really good.

This video is of someone singing the soundtrack of Assassin's Creed. I have chosen this because it shows her being tracked by the camera whilst she is running through a forrest. This is the effect that we are looking for.
